Framing for the 5 Days
This gathering is called “Together Alone Collective” because it holds a paradox: we come as individuals, with our own journeys and needs, and we also come as a field, as one. These days are an experiment in how those truths can live side by side—not as opposites, but as complements.
Why are we here? We are here to listen. To slow down. To strip away the excess so that we can hear ourselves more clearly. Sometimes that means being in stillness and solitude. Sometimes that means being in nature or in movement. Sometimes that means being in the mirror of one another. This gathering is not about performing or proving. It is not about reaching a spiritual goal or earning a title. It is simply about remembering what it feels like to be present—in body, in breath, in spirit—and to notice how that presence ripples when we are together.
What to expect: Mornings will have gentle structure—practices like Qigong, movement, and tuning into the elements. After that, the space opens: walks in nature, shared meals, time for rest, creativity, or simply being. Afternoons are your own; they are as important as the morning practices. You’ll be invited to shape your time in ways that nourish you—whether in silence or expression.
What’s the purpose? Not to achieve or to transform in any dramatic way—but to taste coherence. To feel what it’s like to be alone and yet not separate, to be together and yet not dissolved. Over these five days, we’ll walk a symbolic arc: we begin as points (arriving whole and sovereign), then expand into a sphere (belonging), flow into a torus (collective circulation), balance as a triangle (integration), and finally radiate outward as a wave (carrying what we’ve touched into the world). My wish is not that you learn anything new, but that you remember something very old—that you are already enough, already part of the whole, already alive in the collective field.
What I wish for us all is simplicity, kindness, and clarity. May these days be an invitation to soften, to breathe, to be present. May you find joy in the in-between moments—the pauses, the silences, the small reflections. And may you leave here not with answers, but with a deeper trust in your own rhythm, your own body, your own being.

The 5-Day Harmonic Arc
Day 1 (Tuesday 09/30):
Alone – The Sovereign Note
Theme: Arriving in yourself.
Morning practice emphasizing body sovereignty (Qigong brushing, elemental tuning).
Nature time: we walk silently for part of the hike, attuning to our own rhythm.
Self-retreat: focus on journaling or art to meet “where I am right now.”
Special Workshop: Sound Meditation
Symbol: the Point.
Day 2 (Wednesday 10/01):
Together – The Field of Resonance
Theme: Belonging without losing self.
Morning practice: building Qigong ball, sensing energy not just within but between participants.
Nature: pair mirror work—reflective exercises in pairs, seeing self through another’s eyes.
Optional lunch: communal eating as practice of presence.
Special Workshop: Massage Therapy (60 or 90 mins) with Clara
Symbol: the Sphere.
Day 3 (Thursday 10/02):
Collective – The Weave
Theme: From many, one.
Morning practice: Three Transformations (vital, astral, mental), linking individual energies into a shared harmonic field.
Nature: group hike with a circle practice at a high-frequency site (sharing silence, breath, or song).
Self-retreat: collaboration option (art, sound, movement with others).
Symbol: the Torus.
Day 4 (Friday 10/03):
Integration – The Bridge
Theme: Balancing Alone & Together.
Morning practice: Akasha and non-dual light—anchoring unity beyond polarity.
Nature: hike or practice in a liminal space (e.g., cliffs, threshold between land/sea).
Evening: communal dinner as a ritual closure of the polarity—eating, blessing, gratitude.
Special Workshop: Wild Photography Session with Jesse
Symbol: the Triangle (point, sphere, torus joined).
Day 5 (Saturday 10/04):
Radiance – The Offering
Theme: Carrying clarity forward.
Morning practice: gentle sequence (breath, Qigong ball, light activation).
Closing ritual: Amulet charging. Each person holds one gift they carry from the retreat.
Symbol: the Wave (coherence radiating outward)
Suggested Prep
1 week prior
Prepare the mind
Limit social apps, news, books, music, and any external stimulations.
Gentle readiness of the body
Refrain from caffeine, processed foods, animal fats, salts, oils, and sugars. A hard no to alcohol and other substances please.
Rest and soften
Take it easy and try not to pack your week, sleep a full 8 hours. Please avoid overbooking tours/activities during your stay in Portugal. We will see very special gems of the area together. It will be a remarkable gift to take this time to self-retreat.
Pack
Shoes for walking/hiking trails (any comfy shoe will do)
A hat that won’t blow away in the wind and sunglasses
A light-weight (easy to pack/carry) towel and beachwear
Journal, extra pens
Water bottle
Dress in comfy layers as it’s often cloudy/rainy in the mornings and glaringly hot in the afternoons

Sound meditation will be offered as a part of the program
Massage Therapy with Clara
60 or 90 min options to be paid separately
Wild Portraits: We plan to have a talented photographer Jesse, capture candid portraits of us in nature one day, in case you want to consider a wardrobe item for that, but please, it’s not necessary to fuss over. This will be a part of the program.

We have an organic farm market 12 min walk from the house
Aldeia da Praia (Beach Village) is 25 min walk from the house (food stalls, mini mart, atm)
The nearest beach Praia Pequena is a 15 min walk from Aldeia da Praia

On the Flight
Please, instead of watching a movie…
Write in a Notes or Google Doc, your personal story (who you are, how you got there, your biggest struggles, notable points in your life, and what you are currently working through). This will be the beginning of your journey to self-reflection, so take your time and delve deeply. This info will remain private.
Try not listening to music or podcasts or looking at photos or working. Notice what comes up when you try to be ok not “doing” anything. Journal about the feelings if they are overwhelming. If you must, listen to Spotify 528 Hz frequencies to calm the body and mind (perhaps download before the flight). Lean into the stillness.
